Now I Know What It Feels Like...

I hate being on the other side of the camera. That's why I am a photographer! But, I had the opportunity for two of my favorite photographers to take my bio picture and I think it's good to remember how my clients feel and what a photographer can do to make their clients feel more comfortable. I was very lucky to have the uber talented Liana Lehman shoot my bio pics today in Cabo. I absolutely love them and it was nice to remember what it feels like to be on the other side of the lens!

And here's one by the awesomeJessica Claire.

Adios Amigos!

I am headed to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico! No, this is not for another vacation. I'm actually working this time. Well, kind of. I'm attending the Xtreme Seminar and am very, very excited to learn all sorts of new tips and tricks and to spend time with some of the best photographers in the wedding industry. I will have no phone access this week and will have limited email. I'm not exactly sure what my internet situation will be, but I will try to post some updates and pictures while I'm there!

Some very other exciting news is that I bought the Canon 5D yesterday. It's beautiful and I can't wait to play with it this week!

Also, I did a complete overhaul to my website this weekend. I separated my wedding gallery into 4 different categories, which I think makes it much easier to navigate and I've added lots of new pictures from old weddings. Take a look at it and let me know what you think!!!

Woohoo! I've found internet! I love being in paradise and having a vacation, but it's nice to feel connected again. I get no phone or blackberry reception in my room and spotted reception by the pool. But, I found out that there's wireless internet in the lobby or my hotel. Thank goodness!

We had awesome weather for the first 3 days we were here.

But, today we got our first rainy weather in Princeville. So, we headed to the other side of the island to go up to Waimea Canyon and Poipu. Waimea Canyon is called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. I've never been to the Grand Canyon so I can't compare, but it is pretty spectacular.

At the end of the road is an awesome view of the Napili coast. It's totally inaccessible by car and you can only get down there by hiking or boat. It's also where King Kong and Jurassic Park were filmed.

We stopped off in a little town called Hanapepe. There was the cutest little guard dog in front of an art gallery. Of course, he's not as cute as my handsome puppy at home.

Hopefully I'll be able to post more pictures soon!

Aloha!

Aloha friends! I'm leaving for a wonderfully relaxing, week long trip to Kauai tomorrow morning. I'm not sure what my internet access will be like so I will probably not respond as fast as usual to my emails. But, I will do my best to get back to everyone right away. And hopefully I will be able to post some pictures as well! Have a great week!

I only have two things to say about yesterday:

1) HAHAHAHAHA!

and

2) FINALLY!

Not only did we beat 'SC, but to knock them out of the National Championship game is awesome! It totally makes up for the last 7 years! That's all I'm going to say!
