I headed up to Rancho Palos Verdes for a family session with three very fun women. Jessica and Erica surprised their mom, Debbie, with a family session as her Christmas present. They wanted some fun and relaxed pictures, which I think is exactly what we got. They were cracking up and laughing the whole time so it was quite easy! Here's the slideshow!

I had a shoot with another awesome belly dancer on Tuesday. Jennifer was very brave climbing over rocks in her costume to get to the beach, but I think it was well worth it. We had the whole beach to ourselves! I'm going to be taking pictures with Jennifer's dancing group at the end of February so stay tuned for those! For now, here are a few of my favorites!

On Saturday I had a shoot with the Weise family. The Weise's are originally from Orange County, but just moved to Colorado. They were back visiting their families for the holidays and scheduled a family shoot at the beach. They have a recent addition to their family and needed new portraits. This shoot was special because I went to high school with Brooke. And now she's married with 3 beautiful little girls! Aren't they such a photogenic family?

Haylee and Taylor were so much fun. They are beautiful little girls inside and out.

And baby Avery has the most amazing blue eyes.

I think she gets them from her daddy.

My friend Krysta and her husband Brett came along to help with the kids. I haven't seen Krysta since graduation and it was great to see her again as well and meet her husband.

Thanks for letting me take your family pictures! Hopefully we can do it again next year! Here's your slideshow!

I had a shoot with some fun and very energetic kids. It was very cold, but we still managed to have a lot of fun and get some great shots. These kids are all cousins and the two little girls were born just two months apart. Isn't that cool? I don't have any cousins so it's cool to see how close these kids are. They really do love each other. Enjoy the slideshow!

Yesterday I had a great shoot with the Leib family. We shot their portraits at the Kellogg House on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona. It was a great location and it's actually where Maria and Harold got married. Isn't that cute? Christian and Michael are both very cute little boys and Michael is an awesome big brother. You can just tell how much he loves his little brother. Thanks so much for choosing me to shoot your family portraits! Here's your slideshow!

PS The song is for Michael!

Last Friday I headed down to Irvine Park to meet up with Nicole and Mike and their two dogs Elliot and Bentley. I've known Nicole since we were in the 4th grade. We played soccer together growing up, but we lost contact since high school.

Nicole and Mike wanted some family pictures with their puppies. Elliot is a 108 pound great dane. He's HUGE, but a total cutie. Bentley is a wheaton terrier and is a tough little thing. He holds his own against Elliot! Nicole has a pet sitting business and I highly reccomend it. I don't trust anyone with my dog, Hauggy, but Nicole and my parents. Hauggy was the ring bearer in our wedding and Nicole and Mike actually came to our ceremony and took him after and babysat him that night. Her website is www.nicwood.com.

Nicole and Mike are getting married next November and I'm super excited because I'm shooting their wedding! Mike is a super sweet guy and they make a great couple. I'm really happy for the two of them! Here's the slideshow!

On Thursday I had a family session with the Yeh family. The Yehs are originally from California, but now live in Maryland and although it was cold at the beach, it was not nearly as cold as it is in Maryland! Both Von and Justin are doctors and met while they were at med school. Smart family! I hope that we can make their family pictures a yearly tradition. Here's the slideshow!

Thank you to the Imus family for the referral!
