Nicole and Mike's Engagement Party

On Saturday night I took some portraits for Nicole and Mike before their engagement party started. You may remember Nicole and Mike from their family portraits we did back in December. Nicole and Mike are getting married next November so it was fun to hang out with the bridal party before the big day. Here are some of the pictures!

To say Alix and Jeff don't like getting their pictures taken is an understatement. Alix and Jeff hate getting their pictures taken. But I really hope that after they see how good they look in these pictures they will like it a little better :) Couples like to get engagement pictures taken because it's pretty much the only time that you'll ever have pictures of just the two of you being you. But I like to do engagement pictures because it helps me find out what the couple is and isn't comfortable with. It helps me get to know the couple while, at the same time, the couple can get use to being in front of the camera. This helps to make everyone more comfortable on the wedding day.

We took Alix and Jeff's engagement pictures at Irvine Park, which is a great place for pictures. I was very popular at the park yesterday. I ran into the Kims and the Greenes! It's always great to see both of them!

Alix and Jeff are getting married in January at Tortilla Flats in Mission Viejo. Alix and Jeff are both gorgeous and they are going to be a stunning bride and groom. I can't wait! Here's your slideshow!

Last night I got to do something that I have been waiting for a long time to do. My good friends Christy and Bobby finally got engaged in July so we got to do their engagement session. Yeah! Christy was my very first UCLA friend and she met Bobby while shopping at the Brea Active. It's been awesome seeing their relationship progress and being a part of it. Christy and Bobby, thank you for being such amazing and supportive friends. I can't wait for the wedding!!! Here's your show!

On Sunday I took Sarah and Mark's engagement pictures at Disneyland. Sarah and I grew up together and lost touch during college so it was so great to see her and meet her fiance. Sarah looked amazing in her red and white striped dress and 4" heels (she's already 6 feet tall without them!)! Needless to say, her feet were HURTING by the end of the day, but she looked great so it was worth it! I'm pretty sure all the Japanese tourists thought they were famous models (one Japanese tourist told Sarah she was beautiful! You better watch out Mark!) Sarah and Mark are getting married in Maui at the end of June. I look forward to hanging out with the two of them more once the wedding madness is over!
