Tonight I shot a maternity session for Jen and Joey. I've known Jen since we were in second grade! We shot half the session at their house and half at a local park. We had a run in with a whole bunch of dogs that really wanted to be in the pictures! Jen looks gorgeous pregnant and I'm so excited to meet little Joey the 4th! Here's the show!

PS The song from the slideshow is the opening song in "The Devil Wears Prada". I love the song and the movie!

On Sunday I had another wonderful shoot with the Kim family. This time we were celebrating Alex's 5th birthday and Nicholas' 2nd birthday. The party was held at Pump It Up in Irvine. It was a really cool venue! Lot's of inflatable slides, bounce houses, and obstacle courses for the kids to play on. Check out the cake and cupcakes. Petra's friend Chantelle made the cake and Petra (the mom of those cute little boys) helped. Aren't the cute? Thanks again for letting me be part of your special day. I am very much looking forward to Ryan's 1st birthday in October! Enjoy the show!

Aloha! I'm back! Tonight I shot an engagement session for Jill and Brandon in Laguna. Jill is the little sister of my friend Jamie. I've known Jill since we were very young and grew up in the same neighborhood. Now Jill and I work together and she's become a great friend. Little Jill is soon to be Mrs. Jill Gill (I know, it rhymes!) and I had the honor of shooting their engagement pictures. They were up for anything and let me experiment. As you will see, it was worth it and the water wasn't that cold! I had a ton of fun and I'm glad we finally got these done!

Although I HATE country, Brandon and Jill are big country fans so I put their slideshow to a country song. I'm not sure if this is a good song or a bad song, but it's catchy. Here's the slideshow!

Aloha! I've been so busy relaxing and reading that I forgot to update my blog! We are having an amazing time and I don't think I've been this relaxed since this time last year when we were in Tahiti. We love Maui, but today we are leaving for Kauai. We've both never been to Kauai so we're excited. Hopefully I'll get lots of great pictures!

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the last couple of days. This first picture is from 4th of July. We had our own fireworks show right in front of our hotel and we still have all of our fingers! And yesterday we had rain, which is not good for tanning, but great for rainbows! Aloha and I will try to update soon!

Aloha from Maui! We are on day 2 of our week and a half long Hawaiian vacation. Maui is very special to me because it is where my husband and I met. It will be 9 years on July 18th since we met here! Crazy!

I'm getting lots of time in by the pool and relaxation, which is exactly what I needed! Although, I'm not getting as much work done as I'd like. I can't seem to motivate myself! Tomorrow Chuck and I are going to take a drive to the west side of Maui and visit an art gallery that we like. And then we'll set some fireworks off at the beach tomorrow night!

Tonight was the first time I got my camera out to take some pictures. We ate at a new restaurant in Lahina called The Lahina Store. It's one of the only restaurants in Lahina with rooftop dining (although some telephone poles kind of get in the way).
