Mr. & Mrs. Diltz

I love shooting all my weddings, but it makes it even more fun when you have a personal connection to the couple your shooting. Just two and a half weeks ago I got an email from Callie, who I used to babysit for! Callie and her brother Cole lived two doors down from me and I loved babysitting for them! Callie even had a cheerleader themed birthday party one year and I taught her and all of her friends cheers. My family moved my junior year of high school and unfortunately we lost touch, but I always thought about them and wondered how they were doing.

Callie and Ryan had an informal, yet very beautiful, ceremony right on the beach in Laguna. They planned the whole thing in three weeks and timed it so they got married the day before Callie's graduation. Yes, she even had a final three days before her wedding! I couldn't believe how calm Callie was! She's really grown into a beautiful young woman. Callie and Ryan make such an adorable couple! They are so in love. You can just see it when they look at each other!

Callie and Ryan, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day! It meant so much to me to be there! Here's your slideshow!

I love it when couples write their own vows. Callie and Ryan had cute vows. Callie promised to treat their kids better than their fish that she neglected.

Can you believe that she got this dress in less than 3 weeks??? It was gorgeous!

I love this shot of Karen buttoning Callie's dress.

It was just Callie and her dad, Dennis, walking down to the ceremony. I love the shot of them walking down the stairs together.

I love this shot. I think it's my favorite of the day.

We had lots of time for pictures after, which was great!

Chuck and I got married a block away from where Callie and Ryan got married. When we were walking up the stairs I realized that it was the same stairs Chuck and I walked up after we took our pictures on the beach. My most favorite picture from my wedding was taken there so I made Callie and Ryan recreate it. I know, I'm a dork, but I thought it was cute! I love this picture because I didn't even know it was being taken. It was just a moment between the two of us. Here's Chuck and I and below is Callie and Ryan on the same bench.
