Shelly & Kevin

I was really excited to shoot Shelly & Kevin's engagement session at the San Juan Capistrano train depot. I've shot a bridal session there, but never an engagement session. I was even more excited when Shelly asked if they could dress up. When I met up with them last Saturday, Shelly was wearing a gorgeous dress and Kevin was all dressed up in a suit. They looked so cute! After we got some cool shots Shelly and Kevin changed into more casual outfits. They wanted to go to the beach for sunset and I was trying to convince them not to because it had been so yucky the last couple of times I shot down there. We ended up going very last minute and Kevin almost killed us, but it was totally worth it! There was an amazing sunset! I'm very glad they convinced me to try it :)

I had a lot of fun with these two. I think Shelly had been looking at a lot of engagement pictures. She knew exactly what she wanted and was very easy to work with. I'm very excited for their wedding next month, which is on my parents anniversary, May 19th! Here's the slideshow!

Awesome pics, Drew! I love the one with the train in the background, as well as the sunset shots. Very romantic!

P.S. Your parent's anniversary is on the 19th?!! My parent's anniversary is also on May 19th! This year will mark the 35th anniversay of my parents! So amazing! :)
