This weekend didn't get off to a great start. At the wedding I was 2nd shooting on Saturday we had 4 cameras stolen. It is just completely unthinkable to me that someone could do that. I realize my equipment is replaceable, but I loved my camera. It's mine and to think that someone else has it breaks my heart. Good news is we still have many great pictures from earlier in the day. The thieves were "nice" enough to leave us with one camera so we were able to finish out the day, but it was difficult. And my new equipment is on the way! I'll get a new camera and love it as much as the last.

Today I was fortunate to shoot with an amazingly wonderful family. The Kim's baptized their youngest son Ryan. He is just adorable! The whole family was incredibly kind, which is exactly what I needed today. And they are Longhorn fans! My favorite team besides UCLA! Thank you to the Kim's for your extreme kindness and hospitality. And thank you to my good friend Michelle for lending me her camera today. Here's the slideshow!

I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Sunday evening than down in Laguna shooting pictures. I shot the Chia's family portrait for their parents 27th wedding anniversary. It's a big family consisting of 5 sisters, 1 brother, and 2 boyfriends. Despite getting drenched by some HUGE waves we had fun. Or at least I had fun watching it happen (Sorry! I warned you that you'd get wet!)! I hope to work more with this great family in the future! View the slideshow here.

On Saturday I shot Lauren and Kevin's wedding. Everything about it was absolutely beautiful. The church, the country club, Lauren's dress. It was all perfect. View the slideshow here! I'm having a litle trouble viewing it properly on my MAC. If you have trouble viewing / loading the slideshows, click on the controls button (bottom right corner) and you can just view the gallery!
PS Feel free to leave comments below! I love to hear what people have to say so, if you love the pictures or hate them let me know. Okay, if you hate them maybe don't let me know :) My mom always said, if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all :)

Alan's 40th birthday party was held at Park Prive in Costa Mesa. Park Prive is an awesome venue and the decor (complete with a candy bar) was awesome! We had a great time working with Karen and Alan and hope to work with them again very soon! Here's the slideshow!

Last night I shot a birthday party for one of my favorite clients. Lisa turned 40 and her husband threw her (and 125 of her closest friends) a party they will never forget! The decorations were AMAZING! From the pictures you can't tell we were in their house. I felt like I was in the movie Moulin Rouge! Happy birthday Lisa and thanks for letting me be part of your special day! You can view the slideshow here.

On Friday night I shot the Blue42 fundraiser at the St. Regis hotel in Dana Point. I was expecting it to be a great event since it was at the St. Regis, but I didn't expect it to be as amazing as it was. Kenny Loggins preformed and everyone involved with Blue42 and Mi Ocean is very passionate about their cause. We're all so fortunate to live in beautiful Orange County and preserving Orange County's coast is something we should all be concerned with. I encourage you to visit Mi Ocean's website and help in anyway you can. Thanks!

I'm going crazy with these slideshows! It's way past my bedtime, but I wanted to do just ONE more. Here's Jamie's slideshow from her Sweet 16. I think it's pretty cute!

Today I got an amazing new software program. It allows me to post slideshows to my website. It's a fun way to view pictures rather than just posting the pictures here. So, from now on that's how I'll be posting my pictures. Here's my first one from Sarah Mark's engagement session last month. Enjoy!

Okay, enough about New York. Back to work. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the wedding I shot on Saturday. It was a very rowdy bunch!
