Here are a couple more NYC pictures from my other camera!

Grand Central Station

Our first NYC subway ride

A life long (okay, maybe not life long, but at least for the past 8 years) dream fulfilled. Katie saw my sign, made a delta with her hands, put her hand over her heart, and gave me a thumbs up. The second best moment of my life (next to meeting Britney Spears of course). And this was all the day before her last day. I heart Katie.
A big thanks to John TenBrick for taking this picture and sending it to me!

On the field at Yankee Stadium.

Frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity. Good thing I made a reservation because the wait was over two hours!!!

On the Top of the Rock, 68 stories above New York City!

As many of you know, my husband, Dr. Bittel, graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry last Friday. He graduated with a 3.98 and was the Salutatorian. I've honestly never been prouder of anybody in my entire life. I wanted to do something big for his graduation so I surprised him with a trip to New York City the next day. I'm so proud of all of our family and friends, and most of all, myself for keeping it a secret! We had such an amazing trip! I know, there are a lot of pictures, but I took over 600. Here are just a few of my favorites!

Central Park

St. Patrick's Cathedral

The Top of the Rock at Sunset

Wall Street and the Stock Exchange. Much smaller than I expected it to be!

Trinity Church

View of the Statue of Liberty from Battery Park

Ground Zero. Everyone said when they saw it, it seemed a lot smaller than they expected it to be. I thought it was much bigger than I expected it to be. I just kept looking up trying to imagine what they would have looked like. Words really can't describe what it felt like to be there.

St. Paul's Chapel is literally steps away from Ground Zero. This is where all the rescue workers congregated during the recovery process. It would have been destroyed when the towers fell if it wasn't for the 200 year old trees in front of it. The little church was left untouched except for one tree that fell. It's now basically a memorial to 9/11.

Times Square at night

Rockefeller Center at night.

Our hotel is on the left and that's the Chrysler Building in the background. Right after I took this picture the lights on the Chrysler Building went out.

I love kids at weddings. In particular, I loved the kids at the wedding I shot last Sunday! They had disposable cameras at their kids table and they kept chasing me around taking pictures of me. They were too cute! The bride and groom, Lynette and John, weren't too bad either :) John was a total sweetheart. They're entire family was so welcoming and we had a lot of fun with them. Also, the vendors were a blast to hang out with. Heather from Martinis & Bliss Events (www.martinisandbliss.com) was great. We shared the same awful coordinator for our weddings so she knows exactly what not to do! I normally hate DJs (no offense, but I think they are kind of cheesy), but KC from Vox DJs (www.voxdjs.com) was awesome. He was out there dancing with the guests (see the proof below!). It was a great day and a great wedding!
